Ash deprives Abhi of Rani's company

The rumour mills are abuzz with the recent talk about Abhishek turning down an offer from Yash Raj Films because the film stars Rani Mukerjee.

Grapevine has it that apparently Aishwarya Rai Bachchan did not allow Abhishek to take up the film, as it has his ex-flame Rani Mukherjee as the female lead.

Sources revealed that Aditya Chopra had offered Abhishek an important cameo in his film tentativley titled Hadippa. The film has Rani Mukherjee and Shahid Kapoor playing the lead pair. Since Abhishek had already acted in Yash Raj's Laaga Chunari Mein Daag (2007) opposite Rani , it was taken for granted that he would say yes. But guess, Aishwarya intervened.

Perhaps it's a case of Aishwarya playing too safe but wouldn't Abhishek react similarly if Ash were to work with Salman Khan? Well our guess is as good as yours on this one!
