Tall, dark and unconventionally beautiful, 24 year old Monikangana Dutta swears by her mother’s beauty products. It caught me by surprise when she said, “there are no brands that I reach out to”. Can you believe this, I don’t work out. And my secret to my size is home cooked food gal. Yes, I have a sweet tooth and chocolates and ice creams are a tad bit difficult to resist, but then, I can turn away from the greasy pizzas and burgers. And comfort food is popcorn and Maggie noodles



I follow a very simple beauty regime. Lots of water and home cooked meal. It’s healthy and takes care of my skin. And of course, my skin loves aloe vera.



I was a newbie when I entered the fashion world, but I was a quick learner. The doe-eyed beauty did not start her career after winning Miss North East Contest in 2001, but fame and fortune came knocking at her door when she took part in the Metropolitan Top Model Contest in 2003.



Beauty faux pas…nothing really. I guess, when you are in a profession, wherein you are in the limelight, you cannot afford to go wrong. I am careful and cautious…



I am not a morning person. You would usually find me getting out of the bed around noon. And my day usually starts with a cup of milk. There’s nothing more soothing than a glass of milk. With that my day begins. No little quirks, just the fact that I am restless and always on a lookout for something interesting to come along my way.



I am restless soul. I know I don’t want to do any more fashion shows. I want to paint and sketch. There’s so much I want to do. A Virgo, by birth, I am a very confident woman on the move. I don’t plan anything. I live for the moment. And I love my life.
