Aishwarya Rai In a Soft Porn Controversy !!
Of all the murky controversies Aishwarya Rai has been dragged in, the latest one where her name has been
used as the title of a soft porn movie, is making her fume and frown. The lissome beauty’s name
that has been a part of many renowned lists has now been used in the title of a C-grade
film called ‘Aishwarya- Based On True Rumours’.
What’s in a name? It’s often asked. Apparently, there is enough for Ash to see red.
Though the plot of the story is not known, the posters, which shows a woman in her
essentials getting intimate with a man, have been enough to irk the stunning beauty.
Though the Bachchan family has chosen to stay mum on the issue, Aishwarya’s spokesperson told a news daily,
“ People have brought this to our notice and she thinks it’s disgusting. How can people stoop to such disgraceful levels
to use a senior actresses respected name for such trash? We are not taking action because we think that it does
not even deserve that much attention."
Going into flashback, this isn’t the first time that a celebrity’s name has been used in such a sleazy manner.
A few years back, Bipasha too was hit by such a controversy. The flick named ‘Bipasha- The Black Beauty’
was made with a Bips look alike. The plot of the film showed as to how a girl after being filmed
having sex ends up becoming a sex worker.

Morphed Celina selling gadgets on net
Celina Jaitley registers a complaint with the cyber crime department against a website, which morphed her pictures to make her look obscene

Celina Jaitley was shocked when she learnt that her pictures from a photo shoot have been morphed to titillate and are being used by a website to sell gadgets. Livid at such crass misuse of her pictures in which the words on her panty reads 'Slide to unlock' , Celina has taken the matter to the cyber crime department.
A miffed Celina said, This is the price one has to pay to be part of the glamour world. When I got to know about it, I personally checked the website. I could not believe it, the pictures were gross. I have heard that these things happen but using my picture to sell some stuff on the Net is disgusting. We have already informed the cyber crime department and they will soon take action against whosoever is responsible for this shameful act.
A source said, Celina has spoken to her security agency managed by Ronit Roy and they have registered a complaint with the cyber crime department. She recalled that the pictures on the website are the ones for which she had shot more than a year ago. Back then, she had issues with the photographer because of which she had walked out of the shoot. In spite of following up with the photographer for over a year, he refused to part with the pictures. Looks like he sold these pictures to smalltime agencies, which passed them on to the website.
Celina added, I remember when I had shot for the pictures. I trust the cops and will wait for the law to take its own course.

Hard to Believe as Hard Kaur ELIMINATED !!
The judges had tipped her to win the contest but the very same people were instrumental in eliminating Hard Kaur from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3.
According to a source, “All were shocked to see Hard Kaur came in to dance-off for the first time.
After all, the rap singer had performed brilliantly in Friday’s episode and yet the public didn’t vote for her.
Gauhar’s presence though wasn’t surprising. While the judges appreciated both contestants, they felt that Gauhar was
slightly better today. And, so that marked the end for
Hard Kaur. Though Hard Kaur had been the judges favourite but they were unbiased and voted for Gauhar Khan.”
Adding further the source informed, “It was heart wrenching day in Jhalak, when she was eliminated
everyone started crying. Even the judge couldn’t hide their emotions. They said that they wanted to quit
as people took a wrong decision by not voting for Hard Kaur.”
Before leaving Hard Kaur and Savio performed on Om Shanti Om song Jag Soona Laage,
which could have been there next performance if they would not have been eliminated.
Hard Kaur remained unavailable for comment.
Hard Kaur’s elimination leaves us with three finalists – Baichung Bhutia,
Karan Singh Grover and Gauhar. The grand finale takes place on 23 May.

Kangana Ranaut doing nude scene for a Telugu Flim

Kangana Ranaut is currently in Hyderabad shooting for her first Telugu movie directed by Puri Jagannath.
A source reveals, "Kangana's role requires her to do a nude scene and she has agreed to do it.
No body double will be used for the same. She has been paid a whopping amount for the role."
The actress was seen in a semi-nude scene in Raaz-The Mystery Continues but this scene is way bolder the never-seen-before type.
Ram Gopal Varma plays with national anthem for Rann
Twisting the Indian national anthem Jana gana mana to Jana gana mana Rann' hai won't be everyone's cup of tea. But filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, infamous for courting controversies with his movies, has gone ahead and done just that for his forthcoming project Rann. The lyrics of the title song go like this: "Jana gana mana Rann hai, is rann mein zakhmi hua hai, bharat ka bhaagya vidhaata, Punjab Sindh Gujarat Maratha...". Though the song hasn't been released yet, chances are that it would create controversies. But Varma is unfazed as he says he hasn't shown it in bad light.
"I have not tinkered with the national anthem. Tinkering would be if I would have shown it in bad light. I haven't done anything of this sort. Through this song, we are talking about the disputes in the country but there were no intentions to ridicule anything," Varma told reporters on Wednesday at a press conference in the capital where the first look of Rann was unveiled.
The filmmaker, who has made films like Rangeela, Satya, Company and Sarkar, is confident that no authority would raise fingers at him for this.
"I think no one will have a problem with it. It's something I felt in my heart and it was my idea to place the song like this. It is based on the script of my film and I don't think there's any offence in it. Yet, if there is a problem, we will deal with that," he said.
Commenting on the same, actor Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a pivotal role in the media-based film, said: "I am sure that before doing something, the producers have taken adequate legal actions. I have faith in them and I do believe that they have adhered to the requirements (of using the national anthem)."
Rann is an attempt by Varma to 'expose' the Indian media and apart from the Big B, it features actors like Paresh Rawal, Rajat Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Manisha Koirala, Purab Kohli as well as Gul Panag.
Varma says his movie is based on 15 years of his experience in the Indian film industry and focuses on the "psychological aspect of the media business" rather than its "technical" side.

Jadeja alleges racism in SRK's Knight Riders team
New Delhi: Former Test cricketer Ajay Jadeja made a sensational claim on Monday, claiming Indian players were being ill-treated by foreign staff of the beleaguered Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, currently on in South Africa.
Jadeja hinted that a member of the KKR foreign coaching staff used racial overtones while speaking with an Indian player during the tournament. "You don't need blogger (to know this)," he said in an apparent reference to the 'FakeIPLplayer' blogsite.
"I can assure you that there is definitely a divide and Indian players are (being) treated very badly." Jadeja told an English news channel in a programme.
"I am an Indian player. I know so many players in the team (Kolkata Knight Riders Team). One player was asked to come off the field and when he came off the field he asked "Why did you want me to come off the field? One of the coaches in KKR says 'You Indian, you do what I ask you to do'," he said.
Jadeja insisted his claims were true, saying he had the information “from horse’s mouth” and that the team was a divided house.
"So there is definitely a divide. I know it from the source himself. So the players are not feeling comfortable. There is divide between Indian and foreign player and there is a divide between thought process. I mean Sourav Ganguly has a different thought process and you can see that. So this team is divided. There is no doubt about it," he added.
The KKR team is dealing with controversies way before the start of the tournament when their coach John Buchanan proposed the multiple-captain theory. They have lost eight of their 10 matches so far. The one match they won was where they triumphed via Duckworth-Lewis method.
There is also a tell-all blog on team's activities, although the authenticity of the blog is still in doubt.

Temple trouble for Preity Zinta in SA
Forget cricket, the co-owner of Kings XI Punjab team, Preity Zinta, is making news in South Africa for a strange reason - her jeans. The actress has reportedly been slammed by a Hindu youth group for wearing jeans while visiting a temple in Durban.
A section of the South African media reports that members of the Hindu Students' Association, based at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, found Preity to be "totally wrong" in praying in a pair of jeans for her Indian Premier League (IPL) team.
Those close to the actress expressed surprise at the reports. "If it's true, the objection is surely surprising. No one can expect it because a pair of jeans is never objectionable anywhere in the world. It's very difficult to understand any protest about it," said a source close to Preity.
When contacted, Preity's spokesperson Rohini Iyer denied any knowledge about the protest. "I have no clue about any jeans controversy. Still, I will check and get back to you," said Iyer. But there was no word from her.
Apparently, Preity has been visiting the Durban temple before every match her team plays in the South African city. Although the actress follows the ritual of covering her head with a white dupatta, her pair of jeans has got the flak.
Interestingly, Preity's Durban temple jaunts are already hotting up several blog sites and web portals.
And trust the actress to be a true devotee. Whenever she visits the temple, she is armed with coconut, milk and flowers.
Kreesan Frank, a spokesman for the students' association, said in an interview that Preity should get her priorities straight, "whether she wants to look fashionable for her cricket team or pay homage to God". But the Bollywood beauty also has support from some Hindu groups who say there is nothing objectionable about her dress.
South Africa's Hindu Maha Sabha president Ashwin Trikamjee said no one could dictate terms to anyone.
Earlier, Katrina Kaif had raised a storm by wearing a skirt to Khwaja Moinudeen Chishti's shrine last year while shooting a scene for Namaste London.
The shrine officials had objected to Kat's wearing a western outfit that exposed her legs.
Coming back to Preity, the Bollywood star has been quite the newsmaker in South Africa. From the rumours of her break-up with Ness Wadia to her discomfort over 'touchy fans', she has been making headlines.
"I am fine with people posing with me for pictures, but I don't like it when they put their hand around my waist or shoulders. When you don't know someone well, it gets awkward," Preity said.
While one fan famously put up a placard saying "Please marry me Preity", a few others compared her beauty to Italian superstar Monia Bellucci.
Of late, however, Preity has reportedly been drawing ire after she bluntly refused to pose with a die- hard fan. Obviously, the star- struck girl was disappointed.
Genelia and Shahid will be the next cute pair
The bubbly Genelia D’Souza has been signed by UTV Motion Pictures for Ken Ghosh’s “Yahoo” where she stars opposite Shahid Kapoor.Genelia is the perfect fit for the role because of her bubbly image. She made her mark in the industry with her refreshing performance as Aditi played in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
It surely looks like she is going to be the next big thing in Bollywood. After working with Imran Khan, Genelia is now paired opposite the teen sensation Shahid Kapoor.
UTV Motion Pictures COO Ram Mirchandani confirms the development, “It’s Genelia’s second film with UTV, and she shares a very good rapport with the company.
The script of the movie had undergone a number of changes and after it was reworked and enhanced, the actress who seemed to completely fit the newly etched role of the effervescent choreographer was in fact Genelia.
The revised role is tailor-made for her. Genelia heard the script and after giving it considerable amount of thought, she made her decision and agreed to come on board.
We are sure that Shahid and Genelia will be the next cute pair to win hearts all over. We are happy and honored to have Genelia as part of the UTV family.”
One slip and Ceilna could have been history
Celina Jaitley recently performed in a high voltage song, dance and action show for a music in news wedding (which also saw performances from the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Neha Dhupia amongst others) and has returned enlightened. Other from the basic excitement of being a part of an event that was held on a huge scale, the basic takeaway for her once the show commenced was the 'spirit of team work'.
"This was for the first time ever where I did a show of this scale.
A successful team work was of utmost importance here", says Celina who would soon be seen in 'Paying Guest', "I realized that as individual contributors we are nothing until and unless we work together as a team.
I had this thing in the back of my mind but it was after ages when it came back strongly to me once I returned from the show."
And what made her realize that?
"This was a performance where there was so much coordination required during the performance. Since it was not a regular song and dance routine but also involved some real stunts and action, there was quite some danger involved.
There were dozens of dancers, fire works, pyro guys, cars blasting around you and everything else which you won't dream to do in your day to day life. One slip here or there and you could have been history.
In the end all of this turned out to be possible only because of some excellent coordination between so many people", she explains in one quick go.
She is unable to forget the show even though she has moved on to her assignments in the week gone by.
"This was one of the first of it's kinds in India and the biggest ever LIVE performance", she smiles, "There were stunt bikers involved who were flying bikes high in the air. Attendance was quite heavy too.
While there must have easily been more than a thousand people at the venue, there were hundreds of others who were standing in the balconies of the surrounding buildings. I was later told that quite few gate crashers also got in after breaking the barricades. Thank goodness it was all peace as on as well as off stage security was quite good."
Celina can't help but smile at some of the funny incidents that took place when the performance was on.
"I could understand children enjoying themselves and trying to reach near the stage but it was so much of fun to see some middle aged ladies also standing up on chairs and cheering for the performers. God bless them all.
They only added up spice to the show. Ok, so I must have inhaled kilos of smoke during the performance but I guess it was all worth it", she concludes with an air of satisfaction in her voice.

Priyanka Chopra's house robbed

Just as Priyanka Chopra was letting her hair down to enjoy the attentions of stars like Shahid Kapur and Hollywood celeb Gerard Butler, her peace of mind was shattered.
Reports claim that Priyanka's house in Versova, Mumbai, was robbed by her domestic help.

The Chopras decided to call the police, and that was when one of the helpers confessed.
Reports say that Priyanka hasn't lodged a complaint since the man returned the money, but he was of course dismissed from his duties.
I would like to be a journalist: Amitabh

"I would like to be a journalist. In fact, in the interviews that I had given in the 1970s, I mentioned during most of them that I want to become a journalist in my next life," Amitabh told reporters.
"I say this because I feel that it is a very difficult task since sometimes your conscience doesn't match with reality and that's where you want to go home and tear yourself apart and take a decision," he added.

This, from the 66-year-old who has been castigating the media and journalists on his blog that he started in 2008.
Amitabh was in the capital to promote his forthcoming film Rann about the Indian media. He plays the head of a 24-hour news channel.
Helmed by Ram Gopal Varma, Rann also has actors Paresh Rawal and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles.
Kareena and Shahid's secret reunion
By Subhash K. JhaIt's an all-out war to make Shahid-Kareena's last film together (at least for a while), a worthy farewell.
Boney Kapoor, who has three films including Wanted (featuring Salman Khan) and It's My Life (with Hurman Baweja in his comeback role) ready for release, is at the moment focusing entirely on giving Milenge Milenge a 2009 look.
And for this purpose the Milenge Milengecrew recently slipped into Delhi to re-shoot portions of the film that might have got dated.
Says the film's director Satish Kaushik, "Yes, we have re-shot portions of Milenge Milenge in Delhi. The entire film is set in Delhi, just like my other hit film Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai with Kareena.
In fact, I was supposed to do another film with Kareena (Dil Chor with Abhishek Bachchan) for Boney. Instead we did Milenge Milenge." Interestingly, it was Kareena who recommended Shahid for the role. But her personal relationship never interfered with the project.
Explains Satish, "Both Kareena and Shahid have been complete professionals. If Milenge Milenge has taken so long to be completed, it's not because of the artistes.
Everything from my personal family problems to Tsunami happened to Milenge Milenge. One schedule in Bangkok got cancelled at the last minute. Tsunami struck and everyone got washed away in the tides where we were supposed to shoot.
If the film could survive Tsunami, what's a bit of negativity about a delayed project? Pakeezah and Mughal-e-Azam were in the making for decades."
Another Tsunami hit Milenge Milenge when Salman Khan who was supposed to make a special appearance opted out because he discovered he couldn't get along with Shahid Kapoor.
Far from putting the project on the back burner, producer Boney Kapoor and director Satish Kaushik are more determined than ever before to release Milenge Milenge, which is their version of Peter Chelsom's 2001 rom-com Serendipity, this summer.
The Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor starrer is about two people involved elsewhere who after a chance encounter decide to give their feeling for one another a chance to grow.

No one from the Industry turned up for Feroz Khan's funeral: Celina Jaitly
By Subhash K. JhaOn Monday evening Celina Jaitly was very upset, and not just because her mentor and guide and friend Feroz Khan had passed away.
At the funeral in Bangalore, Celina was horrified to see the poor turn-out from the film industry. "There was just me, Sajid Khan, Sanjay Gupta and Kishen Kumar. No one else came from Mumbai except the entire family of Feroz Khan .Among the top stars there was only Hrithik...But he's family to the Khans."
Celina can't hold back her tears. "I was shooting in Delhi when I heard of Feroz's death. I couldn't get a direct flight, so I flew into Bangalore from Mumbai. I had to. I couldn't hold myself back
. Feroz Khan was not just the man who gave me my first break. He was my dear friend. I am close to both his children Fardeen and Laila. As for Feroz, what can I say?
I could discuss anything from Oscar Wilde to the latest Bollywood film with him. He inspired, amused and amazed me with his knowledge and enthusiasm."
The last time Celina met Feroz was three weeks ago. "I met him at the Breach Candy hospital. He got into his Versace track suit to meet me. That was the man, stylish even when he was in acute pain.
He had needles sticking out of his body but he was wearing Versace. He said to me, 'Celina Baby (that's what he called me) Look at what these f***ers have done to me."
She bursts into tears. "I'll miss him so much. I've lost a dear friend, a father-figure. Years ago he had made Zeenat Aman a bikini girl in Qurbani. He made me the same in Janasheen. I'm very proud to be a Feroz Khan heroine."

Angry with Yash Raj Shahid to bail out flop Kunal
One big flop and reportedly, Kunal Kohli was finding it hard to get the casting for his next film in place after he branched out of Yash Raj banner.Tabloid reports had suggested Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, John Abraham had all turned down his next projects offer. Then there was this rumour of Kunal himself playing the leading role and doing a Farhan Akhtar for himself.
But now it seems that he won’t have to go that extra mile as Shahid Kapoor seems to have shown interest in his project.
Shahid has finally made his foray in Yash Raj films with their upcoming film Hadippa but sources claim their relationship has been anything but amicable.
"So perhaps that is the reason why Shahid doesn’t mind taking on the Yash Raj team by working with their breakaway protégée. That is why it seems Shahid readily agreed to be a part of Kunal’s film when the latter dropped by on his sets for a script narration.
And now that Shahid has bailed out Kunal of his misery, he gets to have a say in a lot more than just acting in the film.” sources say.
Whatever We just hope it turns out to be a good entertainer, something which Kunal Kohli hasn’t given since his Hum Tum 2004).
Kangana Ranaut Follows Mallika's Footsteps...!!

After naming a Milkshake after her, Mallika Sherawat has become the point of envy for her co-stars in Bollywood.
The most hit by Mallika's success is Bollywood hottie Kangana Ranaut who has decided to lock horns with Mallika this time.
We hear, Kangana wants to become the most hot-bod actress in town and take the credit away from Mallika for being so.
As part of this plan, Kangana is deliberately signing films with bold scenes and maximum exposure to make her new image a reality.
Well, after doing some raunchy scenes in her past films, we wonder what exactly Kangana means by getting bolder next time.
SRK’s guard held guilty of murder
A Private security guard, who had shot a colleague while on duty at actor Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, Mannat, three years ago, was held guilty of murder by the sessions court on Monday.
On August 14, 2006, Yatendra Chauhan (31) shot his colleague Chandrapratap Singh (32) in the chest following an argument. The duo was employed with Top Security and deployed at the actor’s residence as additional security.
The police said, Singh and another guard, Sandeep Lakhan, were patrolling behind the bungalow around midnight when they found Chauhan sleeping. Singh reproved Chauhan for sleeping on duty and teased him on whether his “rusted” gun would “work”.
An angry Chauhan put his gun on Singh’s chest and fired a round. Singh was rushed to Bhabha hospital but was declared brought dead. Khan was reportedly at home when the incident took place.
Chauhan fled but was arrested the next day. He was granted bail in February 2007.
During the trial, the defence argued that Chauhan had fired in a fit of rage, and so be booked be only for culpable homicide not amounting to murder — where the maximum punishment is 10 years imprisonment — and not murder.
Public prosecutors Sunil Gonsalves and P S Tawade, argued that the accused had a licenced gun and knew the consequences if he fired at someone. Hence the case cannot be considered as culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
The prosecution examined 10 witnesses to prove their case.
Accepting the prosecution’s argument, the court held Chauhan guilty of murder and is likely to pronounce the punishment on Tuesday.

Parminder Nagra Does Her First NUDE Scene

Nagra shot the scene with Emmy Award winning actor Ray Winstone for her upcoming TV film Compulsion.
"I always said I'd never do a nude scene but now I have. I know there will be a huge fuss when Compulsion comes out. It's partly because of the fact I'm Asian. People don't expect me to do that. I never expected myself to do that," Nagra said.

"My mum will probably disapprove but I'll deal with that. I'm old enough now to make decisions like this," said Nagra who played the lead role in Bend it like Beckham starring Keira Knightley and Jonathan Rhyes Meyers.
Compulsion revolves around Nagra's character Anjika Indrani who takes her employee Don Flowers' (Ray Winstone) help to escape an arranged marriage. However during the process, things go topsy turvy when Anjika and Don hopelessly fall in love. The film is slated to air on ITV1 on May 4.

Bend It Like Beckham was my breakthrough film, but for years after the only movies I was offered were about arranged marriages. Then I got onto ER and things changed," said the 31-year actress.
I’m tired of being the sweet girl now I am going hot: Amrita Rao
Shocking as it may sound, Amrita Rao who has been in two of the most successful films of the decade –Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na and Sooraj Barjatya’s Vivah and whose success rate and iconic status is certainly higher than most of her contemporaries, was not asked to part of Karan Johar-Tarun Mansukhani’s Vote Aapke Haath Mein Hai campaign. When asked about this surprising omission Amrita laughs away the query. “You’ll have to ask them why I wasn’t part of it.”
Amrita, it would seem, has antagonized the Johar-Chopra’s by refusing to do Bachna Ae Haseenon. She a was offered the role that Minissha Lamba finally did.
Says Amrita, “I won’t say I’m tired of playing the sweet girl nextdoor who looks at life each day with wide-eyed wonder. But I do crave for a change of image. In my next release Short Cut I play a very glamorous girl.
For the first time I’m being dressed up by Manish Malhotra. That does say something about the characters I’ve played so far. So yes I declined Bachna Ae Haeseenon. I couldn’t relate to the character.”
No one says no to a Yash Chopra presentation. Amrita’s behaviour was secretly described as “high-handed” and “reckless”.
And now she was refused a place among Bollywood’s 30-minus icons in Karan Johar’s voting-awareness film although everyone from Kareena Kapoor to Ritesh Deshmukh featured in it.
Not that Amrita was brooding over being left out. On Thursday Amrita Rao voted for the first time. So excited was she by the prospect of casting her vote that she reached the polling booth even before the gates had opened.
“At 7 am I was the first voter at the booth in the municipal school in Mahim.I feel so proud of being able to vote for the first time. I keep looking at the black mark on my finger proudly. For years I envied that tell-tale mark on my parents’ finger.”
Amrita’s chosen candidate had to fulfil three prerequisites. “He had to be well-educated, young though not inexperienced, and without a criminal background.”
Interestingly she says she attained a voting consciousness from a electorally-galvanizing website jaagore.com.

Rrevealed: Ranbir Kapoor`s new bearded look
Ranbir Kapoor was trying hard to hide his new look from the public and media glare but well it finally got revealed on election day on Thursday April 30th in Mumbai. It was reported that Ranbir was growing a beard for Yash Raj Films’ Shimit Amin (Chak De India and Ab Tak Chappan) directed Rocket Singh since he is playing the role of a Sikh character.
